C3D 2014 CROSS SECTION MATERIAL VOLUMES PROBLEMS

Trying to figure out why the compute material does not recognize the surface definitions in some sections when defining materials in one material list.

We first start off with three tin surfaces. Existing ground, surf 1, and surf 2, shown in the first attached image.

Then in the second we show the appropriate fill material definition with the correct calculated area for surf 1.

Third shows the correct fill material definition with the correct calculated area for surf 2.

Fourth we combined the two material definitions using two sepreate material volume lists and it works as expected.

Lastly , the problem, when we try to define the two fill materials in the same list with either seperate materials or subcriteria the computed area shown is some sort convoluted mismash of the two surfaces?

What we are trying to accomplish is a material table that can calculate per section the voume of all fill or cut plotted with the sections.

With seperate material lists we cannot have the cumulative values for two tables on one section.

Any ideas
