C3D 2013 - Quick Profile using Points - POSSIBLE BUG

Anyone able to create a quick profile using the Points method??

When I am asked for the Profile Origin the cursor is like a standard Windows Arrow pointer and won't let me select a point for the origin.

If I use a polyline for the quick profile all works as expected...

I didn't have any issues with it. I ran the CREATEQUICKPROFILE command, used the Point option, selected my points, and got a quick profile. No problem. I have seen issues where C3D looses focus. Perhaps clicking on the windows bar and then back into C3D will jar it back (I used to have to do that all the time in 2012).

Thanks for this - I'll try it again after the weekend; we have been having some network issues and C3D has been a bit hit and miss the past few days.

I had similar problems with quick profile in 2011 I seem to remember

Well, I learned that you can create a quick profile using the point option. Didn't know that existed before today so, thanks!

LOL -  not quite as useful as the usual method though....

Just tried on another PC with the UKIE version installed and same thing is happening...
