Hi all,

by using PNEZD (comma delimited) in Figures-LineCodes => Import =>Import point file.  I just got the 50 points without the figures, and there is a "!" in a yellow shield in front of Figures-LineCodes - see the attached file.  I think I made a mistake in the Code Line # 28 with "B" and the Code Line 30 without "E" that causes the "!"  in the yellow shield in front of Figures-LineCodes.  I don't know how to resolve this problem.  Please kindly help and advise me how to resolve this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Scott Chang

Right click on it and select Update.

Hi Todd, Thanks for your nice, valuable response.

I did "Update" as you instructed. The "!" in Yellow Shield was gone.  Only 50 points appeared - no figures of  "Line", "Pool", "BLDG", "LOG" on the drawing - see the attached file. 2 new things to ask you:

1) In the Line 50 statement of the Codes, what do the "x0 -2.05 11.41 -21.23 -17.85 -9.66 2.05 CLS" mean?  Please tell  me the meaning of this set of Codes.

2) If I correct the codes for the Lines 28 thru 33 in the txt file, how can I re-import the corrected txt file to get the right fire?

Please kindly help and respond again.

Many Thanks again,

Scott Chang

The code for point 50 will create a building using the offsets from a line created between point 49 and 50.  the x0 command is to extend the line from 49 to 50 before drawing the offsets.

In the attached screenshot, I changed the x command to match our linework code set EXT.

If you have not done alot of edits in the drawing, you can simply delete the import event in the survey database and re-import the corrected file.  This will erase the points and linework in the drawing.
