C3D 2013-Data shortcut surface profile views?

I've created surface, alignments, surface profiles and pipe networks into a dwg call topo.  I'm trying to data reference these surface profile views in my construction plan drawing so I can drawing my proposed pipe network into the same surface profile views.  Seems like at can data reference in everything but the surface profile views.  Any suggestions??

Thanks

You can't d-ref a profile view, per se.
You d-ref the alignment, and the profile. Then in the other drawing you can recreate the profile view using the same alignment and profile.

Or xref the file if you like the way your profile view is.

Eric,

If xref the topo/profile views in your const doc drawing how would you add your proposed pipe network to the xref profiles???

Ah, you didn't say you wanted to add data. Make shortcuts of the profiles, alignment and surface and create a new profile view in your pipe drawing after drefing in everything.

You don't need the surface. You can reference the surface profile.
