C3D 2007 Service Pack 3 Error 1309

I just tried to load Civil3D service pack 3 on a clean install (no previous service packs) and received error 1309 cannot find c:\program files\Autocad civil3d 2007\explorer\connectivity.proxies.security.dll

The explorer folder does not even exist in the autocad civil3d 2007 directory.

Yes, I am logged in as administrator.

Anyone have any ideas, or seen this error before?

Yep, seen that one. The quickest fix is to copy the explorer folder from another machine.

I figured out I was getting the error because vault was not installed on the initial C3D install.

I went to install vault by adding components to c3d and the install prompted for c3d disk 3 (i have the dvd?) coulnt get past that point.

So, I installed vault by going into the dvd directory to the vault folder under client and installed - seemed to work fine.

I then installed the vault sp1 - ok

then installed civil3d sp3 - got same error message as before - hit ignore and it finished installing.

Now I have a new error upon civil3d startup:
resource manager error
cannot load resource only dll:
C:\Program FIles\Autodesk Civil 3D 2007\AeccUiVault40enu.dll
File not found

Anybody have any ideas?

And I thought I was the only one getting this error message.
I get the same exact error message when I open Civil 3D.
Have you gotten any other error messages when grading? Or when you try to grade based on a feature line and nothing happens?
Just wondering if it has anything to do with it.

I just got the same message. Anybody have the fix? I can't copy the contents of another explorer subdirectory because it doesn't exist on any of our installations!
