C3D 2006 View/Edit Sections

If you edit a section in the new Corridors>View/Edit Corridors sections by changing a subassembly value such as lane width it changes the Corridor at that station (Oh make DARN sure you do not have your Corridor set to "Rebuild - Automatic" or your V/E dialog will flash like a Christmas tree) but when you look at the Corridor properties>Parameters there is no new region to track the over-ride. How are you supposed to keep track of design over-rides? What if you need to edit a region, what happens to the over-rides?

Also, Can ADSK PLEASE add some of the little stuff we real users need like:

The ability to edit a section in a Corridor by selection
Create a Section view by selecting the section object
Quick section

Thanks for the input Mia! These are some of the things that we are taking
seriously.

When you override parameters at some stations, in fact we are not adding a
"new region" (as some clients complained that adding too many regions per
edit is counterproductive - argumentatively), but the information is
provided to you.

In the Corridors Properties -> Parameters tab, please right click on the
region that you have overridden some stations to see an option "Overridden
Stations..."

This will bring up a dialog box with list of overridden stations.

Hope this will help, and thanks again for the wish items.
