Bugging text in 2015

I recently installed C3d 2015 and came across some problems with my text.  The drawing is showing these lines between different portions of text and will move/readjust when panning/zooming. It doesnt seem like its tied to a specific font type either...C3D 2015 - txt bug.jpgIt seems as if it only occurs with existing drawings and civil 3d 2015 (all other C3D versions work properly).  New drawings dont show these stray lines between text.  Has anyone had this problem? know a solution?

I haven't seen this issue. Are they C3D labels? Are they MTEXT objects or MLEADERS?

The text in this drawing is dtext, however, mtext seems to bug out as well when added to the drawing. These stray lines basically connect to any text in the drawing (xref, block refs, dtext, mtext...)

Okay, so here's an update on the problem. I can add new text to the drawing as previously mentioned and the stray lines will start showing up, however, the lines will disappear when i delete all the old text (xrefs, blocks, everything...) from the drawing. this basically means i need to recreate the entire drawing to get rid of this problem which likely wont happen. Anyone have any ideas why existing text within the drawing might cause these stray lines to show up?

Can you post the dwg file? If not here due to size, perhaps Dropbox?

Attached is a portion of the topo. Again, this file opens fine in C3D 2014, but gives me these lines in C3D 2015. I'm starting to think its just a bad install?

Rather then recreating everything. Why don't you try to Wblock the text out, insert it in a fresh template and see if that clears it up. If not. Try a DXFout and In.

Not sure, but since I am not seeing any issues with your drawing in 2015 I can only guess that it is due to the Bigfont assigned to your text styles (which I do not have so another was used in it's place.) Try removing the use of Bigfont, or changing the font used, for the S-X styles and see if that clears it up.

Did you ever solve this problem?  I'm having the same issue.

I turned hardware acceleration off, and it seems to have fixed the problem.

That fixed it alright.  I wasnt able to figure it out after playing with the fonts, so i reverted back to 2014. Thanks for the reply!
