When you make a surface, are you defining them as
breaklines, or just picking them with the rest of the contours? If you are
picking them with the rest of the contours you need to add vertices. The tin
generator only sees 3d poly's at the vertices unless they are defined as
breaklines. At least I *think* the behavior is still the same in the new
version.
