BREAKLINES: Import many, many LDD breaklines from a large complex surface

I have an LDD topographic mapping drawing with several hundred breaklines.

1)  Is there a way to import all these breaklines at once into a Civil 3D 2014 drawing as breaklines?

2)  Alternatively, is there a way in Civil 3D to convert 3D polylines from LDD into Civil 3D breaklines en masse?

Thank you for your help.

There is no such thing as a "breakline" object in C3D. Any 3D line or polyline can be used as a breakline. All you need to do is insert them into a C3D drawing and then add them to a surface.

There are several ways to get them into a drawing such as:

Insert the LDT drawing into a C3D drawing as a block and explode
Use a Map Query
Copy and paste using the clip board
