We have a survey file and when it is inserted into another file, the breaklines show up for the contour lines. We have tried using levelofdetail command to turn get rid of them but it doesn't work. If we freeze of turn off the contour layers, the breaklines remain. We can zoom in as far as possible, then REA, and zoom out - then they are gone. But once we switch model space or REA again they come back. Have not had this issue on any other topo/survey files or files in general. Using Autocad 2014, not Civil 3D.
Question: How can we get rid of the breaklines? I assume they are always there, we just don't want to see them while we are working on the file or printing it.
Thank you
Welcome to the forum!
Do you mean that you added featurelines to your surface as breaklines? Set the FEATURELINE style to a NoDisplay Style. There is no setting within the surface style to turn breaklines on or off (Triangles yes, breaklines no).
