Breaking pipes?

I have a feeling the answer is that I'll have to write myself a little plug-in...but just thought I'd ask...

Is there any way to split a pipe (in a non-pressure network) in two?

Insert a null structure.

Ha ha, can you tell I'm new to this? Man, I feel dumb.

The thing is I used null structures as I was first drawing it but for some reason I thought would have to go back and detach the pipe segments so that they had free ends in order to put in another structure. Should have realized this wasn't true.

Thanks.
