Background Mask Adjustments

When using background mask with mtext, I notice that the default "Border Offset Factor" setting is 1.5. How do I change this globally, i.e. throughout my entire drawing without having to open EVERY bit of mtext.

Thanks,

True MTEXT or c3d labels?

MText: Click one piece of mtext, right-click to "select similar" and change
them all at once.

Labels: Can't be done simply, have to modify the styles.

True MTEXT...

After selecting one piece of mtext, right clicking to select similar, how do I change the Background Mask Border Offest Factor? If I use the MTEXT edit option I am taken to one piece of mtext where I can make changes, but these changes are not reflected in the rest of the drawing.

There's a routine called MTEXTMASK written by Lee Ambrosius floating around somewhere. It works well for this task.
