I have a fresh install of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014. However, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 Metric is not in the start menu and there is no desktop shortcut. The install is a network install done from a deployment. All I have is AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 Imperial? I've done 6 other installs with this deployment and all have AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 Metric in the start menu and a desktop shortcut (this is the way the deployment was set up).
I found a solution. Just had to change "Imperial" to "Metric" in the target line of the desktop shortcut. Then I pinned the desktop shortcut to the start menu.
