Re: Assembly placed lower in intersections

That's right, I moved the subassembly sidewalk after I atttached it to the assembly but the fact is that I want them to be where I placed them.

I'll do what you told me in all the asemblies and see what happens to the entire drawing.

Thanks...

Try this one.  I cleaned out some extra alignments and profile etc. and made it into one corridor instead of the two you had.

Well, you did some magic...

The problem is that the drawing I posted is not the one I have to work in. That was just a simplified couple  of alignments to show the issue I was facing.

Anyhow: thanks a lot. I now know that it is possible though I still have the doubt if it could be my installation and settings the real cause of the misbehaviour.

Thank you. I really appreciate your help.

Re: Assembly placed lower in intersections

Somethiing very strange for me is happening with my Civil 3D 2012...

To check if there was some program misfunction  I built two corridors with no slopes, same section, the assemblies are also flat, I set everything I found to zero slope...

Surprise !... in NE and SE quadrants there are still differences in those regions  levels compared to main and secondary roads.

In NE quadrant the relative level descends from the start at East as the curb progresses towards North, while in SE quadrant it starts lower in the southern start and ascends towards East end.

The curious thing is that NW and SW cuadrants are at the same level than roads...

¿?

:smileytongue:

 Mystery solved...

I built the intersection as part of the corridor and every thing worked fine...
