Assemblies and design profile.

I have created Alignments, Design Profiles and Assemblies. From these, I created a corridor. I see that the Assembly Base is not following the design profile but stays at zero elevation all along. Any idea what may be the reason.

Is MC00-FRL the design profile? And that profile has data between 0+000 and 2+270,the region extents?

Post your drawing.

Yes, MC00-FRL is the design profile. It has data for the region. If I use the station tracker, the cursor traverses in the Plan and profile windows. The Assembly stays put at zero elevation!!

The drawing would be too big.

Your drawing is nothing but lines; there are no alignments, profiles, assemblies at all. You must have used ExporttoAutoCAD.

Just post the drawing as it is, without exporttoautocad. If it's too big, use a file sharing service. You can send small files for free on Hightail.com and maybe Dropbox. Use my email address: support at deltaengineeringsystems dot com or post your dropbox link here.

If you look at the Profile View MC00, it only shows two profiles: ClientOGL-Surface(9) and one with no name. The profile called MC00-FGL only exists in the prospector and shows minimum and maximum elevations of 0.00.

Go into the properties of the magenta profile and assign a name. Go to Corridor Properties and assign that profile instead of MC00-FGL. Now your assemblies will elevate correctly.

Best regards,

Tim

That was the perfect solution. Thanks a lot.

Just out of curiosity. I have created some 20 Profiles in this job using the same workflow. How come only a few profiles did not register properly whereas others did?
