My Application Manager says that I have updates to install but when I open it, I get the spinny circle thing and behind that, it says everything is up-to-date. See screenshot. I uninstalled the Application Manager and installed again after disabling security software, (as posts on the internet seem to suggest for similar problems), but I get the same thing, just with more updates. At first, it listed only one update that I couldn't get, but after trying to reinstall twice, I now have five updates I can't see. I do believe I've got all current updates, (up to SP2 for C3d 2015), so this is at best annoying but maybe indicative of something worse than annoying?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that the reason you were seeing more updates is that when you reinstalled Application Manager you installed newest version (v4.0.69.0) and then you were able to see more updates available.
Since your new application manager says that your Autodesk software is up to date I would just ignore it. Especially if your help>about from Civil 3D shows SP installed. Why the spinning wheel is showing - I am not sure. My guess is that soemthing is either interferring with connecting to the server or completely preventing it. Your IT people may give you some ideas (proxy servers settings, conflict, etc.).
Thank you for the response.
FYI: Today the manager suddenly announced that I had not installed ReCap, a SP for ReCAP and a data translator for Civil 3D. I have downloaded these items previously. Same versions. But I downloaded again and replaced the existing software with what came through today's download. Another SP for ReCap that I haven't seen before then showed up. I downloaded it as well. Then I figured maybe this was all due to ReCap, which I don't use and don't have a license for anyway, so I delted ReCap entirely.
Now the Application Manager says I have 3 updates but when I open it, it states that Application Manager v4.0.69.0 and Civil 3D 2015 Productivity Pack 1 have recently been installed and that (under "Older") Civil Engineering Data Translator has been installed. No new installations are showing.
I can live with it, as suggested. (That yellow box does get your attention though!) As long as this isn't indicative of something else more troubling.
You are not alone. I have the same issue. The stupid thing keep spinning endlessly. The software is malfunctioning and does not work properly. I don't think ignoring it is the answer. I want the updates installed, and don't want to go manually searching for them like its 2014 🙂
I hate to leave things seemingly undone. I need a better solution. It's like turning the radio up when your engine is making noise. Or putting tape over the Service Engine light.
Same issue on my Revit 2015 - Application Manager says Updates available, but the circle is spinning endlessly with no result. Is this a glitch? Is there a patch for that?
