Often, screen are full of information.... surface, aligments, corridors, widenings....
I'd like a tool to have a fast way to view/hide information related to my alignments and corridors.
In example.
Do you know any "pay" tool ? Would you purchase if exists?
Thanks

Just a thought,
...select object, right click >Isolate objects
Would that be enough ?
Isolate works fine but it works only with two behaviours: view this / hide that >>> end hide that.
(maybe I'd want to add to view 'group' another element)
What I'd want is to have a global viewer for my project,
- show - hide surfaces
- show all aligments, hide all, show only an group, etc....
- And something similar with profiles, corridors, etc
Thanks...

In the prospector it you go to the top of a Category, Surfaces for example, you can highlight all the surfaces at one and change there styles at once. If you have a Do not display style, that can turn them all off relativity easy.
The key as shown below is to select the surfaces you wish to change styles, the right click the header of the column that you wish to edit, in this case style, all selected surface will inherit selected style.
MMM It is a defficient solution. I already knew this.
I'm affraid at the moment to work with a complex project.... (this are going to be a chaos.....)
Thanks.

Splitting up Civil 3d source drawings into various Xref overlays will also help in controlling the display of various civil 3d objects by unloading and loading the xref's.
Proper drawing setup and styles that have layering flexibility also aid in controlling the display of various objects.
Bottom line is it's done by object isolation, layering, xref's or within the styles ie: _no display style as has been mentioned.
Once a workflow has been adopted it becomes a lot easier to manage the display of objects in Civil 3d but at first it is very confusing. For me, depending on what it is I'm doing, all of these methods get used .
I'd use layer states.
Save your layer state with everything you possibly want on.
Freeze layers and save the layer state at each point you like your views until you get down to the minimum view you want.
Our template has the Object Layer defaults set up so that each alignment, profile, surface, corridor etc. is created on its own layer with the object name as the suffix. That way I can use the layer isolate or layer freeze commands to control the visibility of each one.

At last !!!
This is the way.
Can you explain how do you do it ?
I have explore it just a little and I suspect that you must to do it manually ?
Regardless of all, it is the most interesting approach !
Thanks

Dave has the right idea. Here is my list, sorted to group together all of the objects that use suffixes. One difference to note - I don't put labels on separate layers. I find that it's not necessary, since the labels will not display for objects that are frozen.

That's what I do to. I typically have layer states and views saved for each shet in a plan set. I may also have them for details, profiles and sections. I like this because I can isolate quickly whith the layer state dropdown in the quick access bar and scales are saved with the views.

Leave the choice to the OP.
If you want these layers to exist in every file without the ability to delete empty layers use an object layer name that is not 0.
If you want layers created only when objects are created and the ability to delete empty layers use 0 for the object layer.
John Mayo
Does it Keep the "0" in the name?
Yes it does. If I create a surface named EG a layer is created named SRF-EG-0. If I place labels on the surface another layer is created named SRF-EG-LBL-0.
