Annotative Text Question...

Is there a way to have annotative text that is set to "Match Text Orientation to Layout" that can be on any angle other than 0 degrees...

ie, I want to put a piece of text on a 45 degree angle on one view, however when the view changes have the text retain the original angle while flipping the text as necessary so that it's legible.

Why not just use the General Text in Civil3D? There seems to be a conflict
in Civil3D with the new Annotative Text. Just my opinion!

Is there a known issue with the annotative text in Civil 3D? We have been using it in Civil 3D lately and have a had a couple of corrupt drawings. Is there any correlation between the two?

All I know is that I was trying out the NEW annotations and realized I was
in the wrong file. I copied -> paste to another drawing and things went
WHACKO. I quit and am waiting for better information.

Thanks for the tip!

I've had numerous problems when copying annotative text. When copied I can't delete the text unless I run an audit first.

General Notes doesn't accomplish what I'm trying to do unless I create a separate style for each angle that I wish to place the text. I'm labeling buildings on arbitrary angels and would like to maintain the angle of the text, however if the view changes then flip the text 180 degrees so that it's legible.
