angular input

we have a crew that still gets field notes in the old fashion way - when we enter the side shot information by creating points manually we use the same format as drawing a line with bearing (ex: 32.7896 as angle then distance) - when we check the sideshot angle it appears to be taking the angle as a decimal degree instead of degrees minutes and seconds - is there a way we can correct this?

thank you very much

Toolspace, Settings, rt.click drawing name, Edit Drawing Settings, Ambient Tab, scroll down to Angle, change the format here.

Bill,

I misunderstood the OP's intent in this case but I don't believe there's any issue with changing the setting

as mentioned.

Surveyor Units are displayed in Properties Palette, when using vanilla Acad List command etc. for a

line segment instead of in Decimal Degrees.

Maybe I've got it all wrong but my understanding of the UNITS command and it's affect on Civil 3D's Units

(Ambient Settings) is like this Being Civil Post describes.
