Hi,

Right Click on table and go to edit table style. You can delete first column.

Are you sure about that?  As far as I know the tag column in a table cannot be removed.  I just tried it in 2014 to check, and was not able to delete that column in any table style.

Hi sboon,

Sorry, I forgot it is tag column.
You are right we can not delete it. Thanks for remembering this.

Thanks,

It used to be possible to edit the parameters in the first column but not anymore.  What you can do is move it outside of the table border; notice the negative column width.  Careful placement of a viewport boundary would allow you to hide the tag column.

This sounds good. But can you explain in more detail how to move the tag
column outside the table border. It doesn't seem to let me drag it anywhere.

I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by negative column width.

You don't see the picture in my earlier post?  It's visible in the style dialog.

No. I didn't see a picture.

OK now this makes more sense.  I've attached the screenshot this time, instead of inserting it directly into the post.  If you look at the column width row in the table you'll see what I'm talking about.

Can anyone else see the original picture?
