Alignment Label Modification

I would like my alignment labels to display Latitude and Longitude.
Anyone know the code for that?
I can't seem to find it in the help file. Is there someplace on-line where I
can learn what all these characters mean?

For example;
Alignment=<[Name(CP)]>
Station=<[Station Value(Uft|FS|P2|RN|Sn|OF|AP|B2|TP|EN|W0|DZY)]>
Offset=<[Offset(Uft|P3|RN|Sn|OF|AP)]>
Northing=<[Northing(Uft|P4|RN|Sn|OF|AP)]>
Easting=<[Easting(Uft|P4|RN|Sn|OF|AP)]>

Expressions to the rescue! (provided you're using 2007)

Create two new Expressions, Latitude and Longitude, insert the northing or easting property into the expression. At the bottom of the expression editor choose to format the result as Latitude or Longitude, as needed.

The characters in the code refer to the formatting of the component and usually follow the same order they are listed on the right.

Uft - Units Feet
P# - precision
RN - round normal
OF - output full
... and so on.

Is there anyway to get the expression format in Degrees, Minutes, Seconds?

yup

When you use the expression in the label composer you'll get a listing modifiers like most other label components. One of those modifiers is format. (dd.mmss, dd mm ss, and so on)

I can add Lat and Lon to my point labels, but I can't seem to get Lat and
Lon to show up for my Station Offset labels.
I am using 2006 BTW..........might be why.

"Expressions" are a new thing for 2007 and seem to be the only way to accomplish this label style. I tried it in the 07 trial software I have on my laptop and it worked fine.

I tried a few things on my office machine, running 2006, but none of it worked. I can't think of a way to make it happen without using two labels. One station offset from the alignment and one from a point at the offset location.

There are many here in this group that know much more than I do, perhaps they'll come up with something.
