Alignment entity contraints

Why are some of the alignment entities constraints changing in Civil 3D ?

For example, I have a number of Spiral-Curve-Spiral groups but for some reason (maybe after editing ?) these groups somehow have changed to individual free spirals and curves.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening ?   Or is there a quick way to convert these independent entities back into the Spiral-Curve-Sprial groups without having to export and then import back ?  Thanks for any reply in adavace.

The alignment has not been edited.
Just close and open again the alignment entity constraints changed.
Do not know why this is happening.

If you put the alignment on a locked layer does this still happen?

Check the Constraint Editing tab in the Alignment Properties dialog.  Also check the help files.
