AECInspect? (or the Civil 3D equivalent)

how do I set what information I want displayed in the information ballon that appears when I hover over an object? In Land Desktop this is sort of like the info balloon that you got when using the AECInspect command. the way it is, I get station offset form every alignment, and an elevation from every surface defined. I have a drawing open now with a zillion alignments defined, and a half a zillion surfaces, so this info balloon is a bit overwhelming. can I set what is displayed, or tunr it off altogther?

thanks, david

In the prospector, right click a surface, select properties. On the information tab, deselect Show Tooltips. Apply/OK.

Do this for each surface/alignment which you do not wish to see info balloon.
