In Civil3D, it seems like we should be able to apply Grading Groups to
surfaces just like we can apply Point Groups, Breaklines, Boundaries, etc.
What am I missing here?
Good point. It seems more coherent than pasting a grading group surface
into the first surface, particularly if this is going to be a permanent
linkage. You would have to be careful about circular references (grading
objects daylighting to the surface of which they are part).
