Add Free Vertical Curve acting strangely

I am trying to add a vertical curve in a profile view of a street surface generated from a corridor. I have done this with multiple other surface profiles, but for some reason this one is giving me trouble and I have no idea why. After I choose the two entities and curve length it adds a nice single curve like I would expect (see pic 1). However after I terminate the command, it adds another curve (see pic 2)! Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

Thanks in advance,

Austin

If it helps at all, this section of the surface is part of an intersection created by the corridor intersection tool.

Is the street you are adding the curve to the primary or secondary at your intersection?
If it is secondary, C3D needs to be able to lock the intersecting PVI to the primary, which could be causing havoc with the curve.
