ADD A TURN OUT ALONG A BIKE PATH CORRIDOR

I need to add a turnout (not intersection) along a bike path at a given station (see pdf attachment)

if I draw a turnout with nice arcs and lines, is there a way to add it to the corridor with extended

cross slope from the assembly at that point?

Thanks

yes, it's possible.

You have to use a BasicLaneTransition.

Please use help for better explainance.

Good luck.

Thank you very much. It helped to research edit target to a polyline layout

While polylines can be used as targets they are static entities, so they don't move if your alignment changes. A better solution is to use offset alignments with widenings. Then you can move the widening along the baseline or edit it parametrically. You want a solution that is dynamic to changes to the design.

Also for a widening you should consider using an offset in your assembly so that your template will be perpendicular to the edge of pavement through the widening.
