Action recorder not recording commands

I've use the action recorder in other versions of AutoCAD, but It seems that it's not working properly. I set the recoder to record do some basic move commands, and all that shows are object selections. It doesn't display any commands and the playback doesn't play any commands.

First off the action recorder only works with standard AutoCAD commands and entities. Second if you have Civil 3D with MAP3D use the workflow manager. on the tool tab of the Tool-based Geospatial workspace. It can do any command even lisp or vba marco to include custom arx or dot net routines. Granted the UI can be discouraging but once you get the hang of it it makes the Marco Recorder look like child plays.
