accepting drawings with educational stamp?

Hi All,

I'm currently working on a project using drawings supplied by others that contain educational version stamps, I just want to make sure I'm not breching any terms of my licence by using all or part of these drawings for comercial use?

thanks

The first result will be that you will get the educ-plotstamp on all drawings activated where you imported any entities from drawings created or modified by educ-licenses.

And yes, you will have the problem that it is not allowed to

  • create anything with educ-licenses for commercial use
  • use anything created by educ-licenses for commercial use

If you need a tool to scan your drives for files that contain the Educational flag, we produced a freeware tool back in Jan 2010 that will do that.  That way you can avoid using any DWG file that contains it.
