a point dynamically related to an alignment

Hi

Is it possible to make a point dynamically related to an alignment. If you move the alignment, the point will follow with a given offset.

Thanks

With third-party help, yes:

There are three options for this: lock to a specific Station, to the nearest horizontal geometry point, or the nearest vertical geometry point.  (All three options maintain the Cogo Point offset.)

My understanding is that you can create points from alignment but those points will not be dynamically linked to the alignment. So any time you make changes on your alignment the points will not follow. If you need to have these points, you may want to consider placing these points into separate point group and delete them and recreate them after the changes on alignment.
