3D alignment in Civil 3D

Hello...
I tried modeling a Driveway using the features in corridor modeling. I was really impressed by the features. What i would like to know is how can i create a proposed driveway with my desired slopes?
In LDT, i used to create a 3D alignment of the driveway & then grade it. But it seems like Civil 3D may not have the feature wherein we can create a 3D alignment.
In brief, i want to know the simplest way to create a 3D alignment through which i can create a proposed driveway.

Another thing i wanted clarified is how can i take my LDT datas into CIVIL 3D. Is there any feature to inter-link the two?

Thank You!
Regards,
Nagraj

Instead of 3D Alignment, I think you mean 3D Polylines when used with the
grading tool. Civil 3D has a grading object as well. You can use this to
model your driveway and then make a surface from it. Take a look at the
help files for this feature.

You can import Land Desktop data from within the General Menu. "Import Data
from Land Desktop".

Thank you Matt for the reply but i would like to grade my driveway using the 3D polyline & the features in corridor modeling.
Is this possible?

You could probably do it using a whack of alignments and profiles and
several assemblies, but I think you'd have better luck leaving the corridor
to just the road and them modelling the driveways subsequently.
