When I click on "custom" annotation scale it crashes every single time. Is this a known bug?

Haven't heard that one in a while. In the past it was an indication there were massive numbers of replicated annotation scales. Use the command-line version to reset the annotation scale list, and ensure all associated drawings have relatively few scales as well so they aren't inherited back into the drawing.
I'm having this same issue with a fresh install of C3D 2015.
Tried it on two pcs and both have the same issue.
My reseller was able to duplicate, but Autodesk couldn't.
I have IDSP installed here in the office. I have installed only C3D at my home pc and it works fine.
I'm in the process of uninstalling the suite and installing C3D only to see if that fixes it.
UPDATE:
Uninstalled every part of IDSP.
Deleted all folders.
Reinstalled only C3D. Nothing else!!! Not AutoCAD, not MAP.
It works.
Installed Autocad.
Still works.
Rebooted pc and started C3D
error message and crashed.
Stay tuned.
I have only C3D 2015 installed at home (not the suite) and it works here. I tried with an older drawing and with an Autodesk tutorial drawing.
We have the same problem. We have the entire IDSP installed. I have tried using the "-SCALELISTEDIT" command to avoid the dialog box and reset the scale list. I am able to reset it without problem, but that shouldn't matter anyway since I am using the defult template. It still crashing even after trying a reset.
If I open "Civil3D as AutoCAD 2015" Scale List Edit works fine. It seems to just happen when opening Civil 3D. According to the Application Manager I have no updates.
Our reseller was able to duplicate the error and we have a support case with Autodesk.
They weren't optimistic that it would get fixed until a service pack is released.
I got the same answer
"Please be aware that when we escalate an issue to our development team, they have to perform their own research as to what might be causing the issue as well as how to fix it. Their schedule is regulated by service pack and new release time frames, and priority for fixing issues are determined by and how the fix impacts other functionality business cases. A realistic expectation for this particular issue might be fixed with a future service pack; however it might take another release cycle to be fixed."
Our office just noticed this problem today. We have the design suite but I only have C3D loaded. It doens't seem to happen to my co-workers if they try it in AutoCAD or Map. When I was told it was happening on two other computers I tried it in PS and crashed. I tried it in MS and it did not crash. Now I haven't had it crash in either PS or MS in several drawings that I have tried. It appears that my computer is cured, I'm not sure how or why though. I'll still try to remember to save before I try to customize a scale list.
Welcome to 2015.
It appears to only happen when you use a C3D template file, not the acad.dwt.
Mike and Nathan do yall want to email me one of your drawings and I will test it out with my machine? Or you can attach a drawing on here. I have been using C3D 2015 and IDSP since day one and I have not experience this. Let me see if I get the same results.

Here is an empty .dwg to test out. The crash has happened on every drawing I have selected the custom option on the annotation list. Thanks for the help.
I got the same results. Was this created from your compay template? Did Autodesk send you a clean C3D default template? Here is my work around for this issue and it worked for me.
I would do this for your company template.
It happens to me using the OOTB C3D templates, either Imperial or Metric.
I haven't got a company template finished yet. I quit working on it after I had this issue.
We've found that running audit on drawings in 2015 is working so far.
Just went through your work around TCARCAM078 with the OOTB Imperial template and the company template I had started.
The issue stil remains in both templates.
Doing an audit makes no difference here.
Did the audit, and still have the same crash resullts, with both the autodesk imperial .dwt file and my custom .dwt file.
Ok try this. Open 2014. Run the recoverall command. Select your drawing. Then reset your scales. Then run the -purge command and select R. Then save your drawing. Then reopen in 2015 and see if it works. If it does not, it may be a bad install of C3D.
