2013 Civil 3D projects

Is it possible to map your project for different jobs, network, point, I guess that's your survey database to different folders and or drives? For individual drawings.

You can't do that in Civil 3D. You need to go with a 3rd party app. This site has an individual app that will do it http://www.smartdraft.com/individual.htm. This was available through the Autodesk Store, but I can't find it on the new website.

Or you can buy one of their full packages if you want more functionality.

Project working folder information is stored in xml files in the C:\Users\{userName}\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\C3D 2013\enu\Project Management\ folder.  One file is for locating data shortcuts and the other is the survey database working folder.    These files are modified when you change the working folder locations in Civil 3D.

You could edit these files prior to launching Civil 3D to tell it where to locate the working folders.  Folder locations can be associated to projects by using a custom program, or one developed by a third party.

A variation that I have seen of this is to create your own Windows environment variable, and then reference the variable in the path statements contained in the xml files.   Then your pre-launch application would just need to change the environment variable.
