The Import Styles command does not pull the Band Styles. You will need to import these into your drawing one of two ways. Open a drawing containing the desired Band Style along with your current drawing, and use the Toolspace to drag and drop the Band Style from the old to the new.
Another, better way is to simply place the Band Style in your template drawing so it is always there to begin with.

I see band sets can be selected, but not individual band styles. However, if the Band Styles checkbox is checked then I get all of the Band styles imported.
