Forgive me if this has been adressed many before, i rarely use this forum for help. I was recnetly hired by a Civil Eng. who uses 2011 Civile 3D, coming from an Electrical Contractor who used 2010 LT... I have quicky realised that my experience as a drafter for a Elec. Contractor has not prepared me for Civil Eng. Drafting... I need a crash course in points, connecting points, etc. I am not familiar with the Civil 3D Drafting Process & have not used Civil since the one class i took for my degree. Could anyone please give me some suggestions?

Google searches for tutorials on Youtube and other sites can help. However those can only go so far. If you have the resources. I'd suggest looking for training at a local reseller. Even if you have to spend your own money on it. Civil 3D is just so darn complicated that you really need training and experience to get up to speed.
Hopefully the company has good templates already built so you have a good base to start. If that's so you should concentrate on how to do the tasks rather than how to build styles. That can come later. I they don't have good templates. You're going to have to delve into that aspect too.
