else seen this? My C3D 2010 started leaving crosshair trails over the screen,
as in the attached image. As I move the cursor around, it leaves more and more
garbage on the screen. A pan or redraw clears all the garbage, but the process
starts all over again - as I move the cursor, more garabage gets left
on-screen. This continues until I click in the drawing. Then all the garbage
clears up, and C3D 2010 behaves normally until I pan the display again. Then
it's back to leaving trails. It's really strange - pan the screen, click a
point in the drawing, and everything is fine. Pan the screen, then try moving
the cursor around without clicking in the drawing, and all these trails get
left all over the place. Shutting down and restarting C3D made the problem go
away, but not sure what got it started in the first place. I've never seen
anything like this in earlier versions of C3D. -- Sinc

I've been having this issue intermittently with 2013 C3D while working in a view port in paperspace. When I'm inside the viewport (in model space), ghost trails from the crosshairs accumulate. Curiously, the problem doesn't occur in paperspace.
I performed a power cycle and still had the same issue. Running RECOVER fixed 2 errors, however the problem continued. After 5 minutes or so, the problem just went away.
It's happened several times before and each time the problem has righted itself for reasons I'm unaware of.
For now, my best advice is to try to ignore the issue for 5 minutes and keep your fingers crossed.
