2008 Locking Points Cause Crash

Every time I attempt to lock the points in my drawing, so they can't be moved or edited, Civil3D flashes the an error message and crashes. Has anyone experienced this, or is it just my install?

I have 2007 on the same computer. I am not running with Vault. These are points from an ASCII file brought into a fresh drawing. The drawing could be built on our company template as well as the default ACAD templates from the DVD, it makes no difference.

The crash happens when I attempt to lock a point group or individual points from the point list.

Yep, happens here, too.

Same setup as you.....2007 & 2008 installed, no vault

I hope they come out with a fix soon, How can we work on drawings not being able to import points.

Why can't you import points? The crashing I see is only when trying to lock
existing points.

Sorry I was not clear, I can, but if it causes the Drawing to crash, it makes it a volatile drawing.

BTW I did figure out a work around. you can select limited number of points at a time and lock them by right clicking over the points, and on the side point number list.
