I tried to edit the length of a vertical curve in the Profile Grid View Panorama window and the software would not apply the change. I exited Civil 3D and restarted and then the edit worked fine. I ran into some of this behavior where things would stop working until I exited and restarted with C3D 2006 and was kind of hoping this would not occur with 2008. Is there an explanation for this or should I just get used to exiting and restarting when certain things seem to stop working?

In this case, I found that closing and re-opening the drawing allowed me to edit a VC length that I couldn't edit before. This is better than completely exiting C3D, but I'm still wondering what's going on.
