2 extra scale icon associated with viewport - Still in the layout

Just wish to find out where to look to delete these icons on the viewport. Could explain to me where to find the viewport or the sclae object related to 

this two icons.

I have seen those icons when a layout element (Such as a barscale or northarrow) loses its link to the viewport it was assoicated with.

Even after one of the elements has been deleted, the icon seems to remain. I think this is what is happening to your drawing. In the scenrio in my drawing, I had to remove all layout elemenets in the drawing and do a purge and audit. Once these links were removed, I could then re-add the desired layout elements and link them to my new VP.
