Salam Syed,

I can think of two ways;

1) Option 1

This is so manual and may require time. You can utilize surface labels. Make a surface that includes the Road CL, Edges and Curbs (at their correct elevations) as breaklines. Then add the appropriate Slope and Spot Elevation surface labels at the 3m intervals. These labels will update to any changes in your design intent/ surface.

2) Option 2.

Using corridor labels. In this case you will model a corridor for your roadway and assign code styles with labels to your points. This is a really reach approach and as long as you know your sub-assemblies, you can play around the labels anyway you wish.

I can't be so manual & i don't have data for preparing surface.

This looks simple enough.  First off, your curve is not tangent to the line.

This requires using the MODIFY on the Ribbon and Edit Geometry & Edit Elevations.  These are feature line routines.

1. Make your red line a feature line.(FL)

2.  There are feature line routines to grade your FL @ the 0.27% slope.(Elevation Editor)

3.  Offset your new graded FL 2% each way. (Using the Stepped Offset)

4. Using the same Stepped Offset, do the curbs.

As far as every 3 Meters.

1.  If you want the 3 M only on the center line (red) and all the other line up, then select nodes at 3M on the centerline before offsetting.

2.  If all lines are to have 3M between points then do them separately.

OK, keep in mind there are usually several ways to perform operations in Civil 3D.

Here is what I would do:

1.  Make a FL of you Red Line.

2.  Rt. Click the new FL and select "Elevation Editor"

3. Enter your .27% slope.

You should have two "segments" on your Elevation Editor with the correct slope. (Check it.)

4.  Select the "Insert PI" ICON and select the above FL.

(Instead of the INSERT PI you can use the INSERT ELEVATION POINT).

5.  Notice that you have an option ( Specify Point or Distance Increment)

6.  Just type in 3 and you should have points every 3 meters along the graded FL.

Bill,
That is really cool. I should surely try it out too.
