Cross-sections intersecting each other

Can anyone suggest me a method I can apply on intersecting cross-sections. I'm having a problem of defining volume from those intersecting cross-sections, in my opinion I should use a procedure of volume reduction in that location cross-sections intersecting each other. What kind of approach I can manage to...

I create a surface for each layer and then do a surface comparison between surfaces. Doesn't work if you have to do quantities by cross section though.
