VBA Familiarisation

I am wanting to become familiar with VBA programming for Civil 3D. I am quite proficient with Autolisp programming for older versions of AutoCad. However, I gather that Lisp is nearly becoming obsolete/redundant. Can someone recommend a source (eg. tutorial or reading material) which might enable me to become familiar with VBA programming for Civil 3d? Attached examples of simple VBA code would be ideal. This would be appreciated.

There are vba samples that ship with the product. They are at C:\Program Files\Autocad Civil 3D 2008\Sample\Civil 3D API\VBA\

If you search this discussion group as well as the base product you will find samples. Also the Autodesk University website has some good stuff on it.
