Dear all, i have a question..
From the bridge 3D model (produced by AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012), my professor told me to make a user interface from it. In the UI, for example if i click the beam of the bridge, it will pop-up the properties of the beam.
He doesn't told me how to do that, i just know that once he said that i have to use AutoLisp & SQL. As a newbie, i ask this to get enlightenment from all of you. I hope someone can guide me to solve my problem.
Thank you in advance
Hi,
Civil 3D Bridge modeler is a Lab Tool and it doesn't have exposed API to access properties. I am not sure if you are referring to same bridge tool here or the Civil 3D subassembly / assemblies which you can use to build a bridge section. In any case, I would suggest to use .NET (VB / C#) to build your application instead of AutoLISP. And for that, start with the AutoCAD .NET API tutorials. Here are some useful resources -
