surface spot elevation label show different colour cut and fill

i used the surface spot elevation label on grid and got all the labels ok. but company wants to show different colour for positive and negative numbers.

i thought it was easy to simply go to my com api program over the years and see i can find spot elevation label. found, but then not support content reading.

looks like only way to do it is .net.

either

1. anybody have any recommendation on how to do it without going to .net

2. how do you even start .net rather than com? and is my old com project easily convert to .net?

can't find any reference on the internet as straight forward as downloading that module.net file which has the "getcivilobjects".

maybe it's time to upgradt to all in .net. i think all com has moved over now, yes or no?

Regarding .net samples for civil 3d, check out the Infrastructure Modeling DevBlog here -
