Surface label with 2 elevations

I am trying to see if there is a way to have a Surface, spot elevation, that is custimized to show the elevataion at the spot, like the FF of the building, and have the same tag show the PAD elevation.

The tag would read the surface to get the surface elevation, then subtract a set distance.

The first elevation tag reads: FF = <[Surface Elevation(Uft|P2|RN|Sn|OF|AP|GC|UN)]>

Then I want in the same tag to give: PAD = [Surface Elevation(Uft|P2|RN|Sn|OF|AP|GC|UN)] - 0.75

I have tried many variation, but can not get the label to work.

Any help or sugestions would be helpfull.

Thanks,

Troy

example editing the existing "surface spot elevation style"

In the label style composer, create a new component  "reference text" whose type is surface

this reference text will reference the second surface.

when inserting the label in C3D your first prompt is:

Select a surface <or press enter key to select from list>: Surface:  Composit

then you are prompted for a location and for the second surface.

Select a Point: Select surface for label style component Reference elev2:

after that you are only prompted for a location for the remainder

although the above is not a step by step tutorial, but hope it points you in the right direction.

Just add an expression to your label style and call it something you can remember like "FF elevation."  Since it's a simple math equation you should be able to do the expression fairly simple.  If not drop another message and I will show you how to do it.
