setting scale for sampling sections

Is there a way to select the scale of your cross sections from a sample line? Or is this drawing depentdent. Also how does one change the sheet size in the section view?

thanks

Erin H

Hi,

Could you clarify on ' which scale' you are talking about here ?

Do you see this scale value in Section / Section view ? A screenshot will help here to understand the context.

Thanks,

Partha

Sorry for the confusion. I was meaning the horizontal scale. As is trying to create sections that are at say 10 scale when the drawing is 20 scale. I found where I can adjust the vertical but the horizontal keep defaulting back to the drawing scale.

Hi Erin,

Thanks for the clarification. But, I don't see any such settings or control is available and I think its as designed and calculated based on the drawing scale where as the vertical scale could be controlled as you understand, many a times change in elevation would be a fraction of horizontal distance and hence that's necessary to reduce the vertical scale.

Hope this explains.

Thanks,

Partha
