Modifying Sub-Assembly

I know I may be headed on a slippery slope but I would like to add some link codes to the out of the box sub-assemblies that C3D 2008 comes with. An example of my intention is to add a link style to all links on the basic curb to be called Concrete (Or whatever) and that way I can assign a link style that would control how it plots. If anyone has suggestions I'm game!

Your 1st option is to use the help file to find what the current codes are
and then set up up the right code set style per those codes. because no
matter what the code is, it is still determined by the style.

Option 2 - If you dont mind losing the stock one and would like a simple fix
you could edit in dotnet. go through the normal process like the developers
tools says, vb express 2008 is free so download that, open up the
stocksubassemblies in the sample folder
C:\Program Files\AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008\Sample\Civil 3D
API\C3DStockSubAssemblies

use that project and just edit the subassembly with your unique codes, then
you build it, copy over the original (after backing it up of course) and now
the OTB assemblies are customized with your codes,

It can be possible by adding a LinkMulti that runs along your Curb. Then you set/add "Concrete" to the Link Code of the LinkMulti to (it is default as Top, Datum).
