How to change type for existing Alignment?

Hello!

I need change type for Alignment with NET API. Alignment has property AlignmentType, but this property is read only!

In COM API Alignment not has this property. And with user interface to make it easy!

Any ideas?

P.S. Sorry for my english

Hi,

Yes, I see AlignmentType is ReadOnly -

public Autodesk.Civil.DatabaseServices.AlignmentType AlignmentType { get; }     Member of Autodesk.Civil.DatabaseServices.Alignment

When you said this - "And with user interface to make it easy! " did you mean we can change Alignment Type using user interface tools / commands ? If So, could you highlight the tool / name of the command ?

Thanks,

Thanks for reply!
EditAlignmentProperties --> first tab "Info" --> change value in popup list "Type" (my Civil is Russian, may be mistakes).

Hi,

I have investigated this and also had a discussion with my colleagues from engineering team. I can confirm you this is not available through API, sorry. If you want, I can log a wish list for the same.

Thanks,

It is a pity! I wanted to write my application neatly in Civil 3D.
But it is not critical for me and my users. They agreed to the Alignment with the default type.

Thanks!

Any news on this topic? I'm facing the same issue in C3D 2017, thanks

In this case I'd want to log a wish for it, thanks (and on COM too)

Send it to ADN Dev HELP or Subscription center.
As I know Partha Sarkar does not provide support programmers more.
