Copy ribbon customizations from regular AutoCAD

Hi-

We recently installed Civil 3D on our computers.  Some people started working in regular AutoCAD first rather than changing the workspace in Civil 3D.  They have customized their ribbons.  Is there a way we can copy those customizations and apply them to the 2D Drafting & Annotation workspace in Civil 3D?  Thanks so much!

You can modify the civil 3d workspace to include the customisation using the cui editor.

You might want to search around a bit on using the cui and customising workspaces. Have a look at the help files and also autodesk university. There are some good class on setting up and customising the cuix's

The amount and type of work you will have to do will depend on the types of customisations they have done.

Your users can't modify the enterprise cui if you've deployed it that way.... if you deployed with an enterprise cui though, i'd wager you already knew that.

Just an FYI, if you're used to working with old MNU style menu's, you can access this data by renaming the CUIX to .ZIP and you'll find the MNU's inside along with the custom icons, etc. You can copy the customizations to the new MNU's in the C3D CUIX, and it should be good. Just make sure to check file pathing.
