acaddoc.lsp not loading?

I have created a few lisp routines and would like to add them to my acaddoc.lsp file so that I could load them at each drawing. The problem is that I cannot locate the acaddoc.lsp file or even the .mnl file. I was instructed to type (findfile "acaddoc.lsp") on the command line, but it retuned "nil". I don't what to manually load them each time I need them. And for some reason I need permission to create and or save files in the "..\support\" folder even though I am the Administrator and have full permissions. So even though I find the acaddoc.lsp and .mnl files I still can't modify them. What can I do?

You should be able to put the acaddoc.lsp file in another location, just make sure the Support File Search path includes the folder location you are using.
