Rob and others:
This is our situation. We have several "units" that we use to make up a
building. The file name is bases on what type of unit it is - such as
"1BR-FH-DN" for a one bedroom unit that is fair housing and has a den. The
actual unit type could be "1C", an arbitrary designation. I want to have the
unit type associated within the unit drawing. I though the best place would
be to use one of the custom fields from "dwgprops", but I cannot figure out
if it is possible to create a property set def that references those field.
My goal is to create a schedule in the assembled building that pulls out the
drawing name, the path, the Unit type, and any comments (from "dwgprops"),
and the number of times it's references.
I have the drawing name, the path and the quantity worked out into a
schedule. Is it possible to create a property def for the other info?'
We are using ADT 2.
Thanks!
